Sailesh Sejpal - A Pioneer in the UK Forecourt Industry
1979
Sej’s journey began where he operated his first site in East London. What started as a single location grew into an expansive business by 1982, he was operating 9 sites in partnership with leading oil companies.
1988
Sej made a bold move by purchasing his first freehold site. This landmark decision marked the beginning of a new era, laying the foundations for the even greater things to come
1998
Founded Motor Fuel Group (MFG). MFG grew to become of other UK’s most prominent independent forecourt operators - admired for its operational excellence.
2011
MFG was sold and Platinum Retail Group was started. A business designed to redefine fueling and convenience retail, with a focus on premium customer experience.
2022
Beyond business, the Sejpal legacy is equally defined by dedication to give back. The J Bros Foundation was founded, a charitable initiative that reflects deep-rooted beliefs in community support and making a difference where it matters most.
